I am a Chicago, Illinois resident with over eight successful years of game industry experience. I’ve had a love of videogames from the day I played Nintendo Baseball on the NES for the first time. In art school I hung out at the arcades a lot and played probably way too much Street Fighter, Tekken and a host of other games like Quake 3. But it was on my way to the arcade one day that I decided to take my love of games and art and make a career out of them. I landed my first game industry job right out of art school and haven’t looked back.

At Rainbow Studios in Phoenix I was hired as part of a small art team that produced ATV Offroad Fury where I made various in-game models which gave me my first taste of seeing my work running inside a game engine. Eventually I transitioned into character modeling where I learned invaluable lessons on putting together a solid game character. From there I was hooked. ATV sold more than one million copies worldwide and certified my passion for game development.

From there I took my enjoyment of game art to become the Lead Character Modeler and Animator for Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX 2. Though it was a lot of work, I accomplished the creation of over two dozen character and licensed bike models and personally created over 500 animations which ushered in the most robust “Flatland” stunt system to be seen in a Tony Hawk-style game at the time. I also assisted in the development of various environment assets including most of the front end user interface models.

My focus turned towards character work where I developed experience with next-gen technology and shaders working on a wrestling action title. I was able to develop my skills as a modeler and texture artist creating high resolution characters for next-gen sports and action games. I have become very proficient in hi-resolution modeling techniques using ZBrush and 3ds Max and I continue to learn more each and every day.

Currently I am with Day 1 Studios in Chicago, Illinois where I am part of a very creative team on the title, Fracture. I'm producing some of the best work I have yet done and I look forward to being able to show it to you soon.

Those who know me know that I have one guiding desire for my career and that is to work on highly successful games that I can play an integral role in the making of and further my artistic and technical growth as far as my ability can take me.
